Cotton Candy Grapes
It was a typical weekend for me shopping at Whole Foods Market on a sunny Sunday afternoon. As I was walking through the produce section of the store looking around the fruit section, my wife brought to my attention these cotton candy grapes. At first glance it looked like green grapes with the exception of it being packaged in a hot neon pink transparent plastic bag. I took a closer look at the grapes and saw that the description mentioned the California grown grapes tasting like cotton candy so right then and there I knew I had to try these grapes out. Who doesn’t like cotton candy right? I know I sure do and wouldn’t mind being brought back to some fond childhood memories of some damn good cotton candy I’ve eaten over the years at various fair events.
So if you are wondering how do these grapes taste right? Well I am happy to say that these cotton candy grapes are really good and very enjoyable. At first bite, these grapes hit you with a subtle cotton candy flavor and you get a bunch of sweetness that is a pleasant surprise, especially when typically it is usually a tart tangy flavor, but not these grapes. These grapes do not smell or look like cotton candy but will remind you of the fair or circus when you take a bite out of them and that is a wonderful thing!
Next time you are in your local market, definitely be on the lookout for these cotton candy grapes and give them a try. If you already tried it, my wife and me are curious to know how your experience was with the cotton candy grapes?
