Cilantro Lime Shrimp

Shrimp in a tasty, light and fresh cilantro lime marinade that is seared to perfection. This is a great quick and easy recipe that I believe you will love especially if you are a fan of lime and cilantro. One of the great things about the cilantro and lime flavor combination, is that it is so light and refreshing and perfect for summer or just on a beautiful sunny day like today.

You simply make the marinade, marinate the shrimp,and stir fry them. You can enjoy these shrimp by themselves or in other dishes like rice, pasta, burritos, tacos, nachos,salad, etc.

Ingredients:

1 lb. shrimp (shelled and deveined)

1 lime

2 tbsp cilantro (chopped)

1 tbsp garlic powder

salt and pepper to taste (as desired)

2 tbsp Sriracha hot chili sauce (optional)

1 tbsp grape seed oil

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, sea salt and ground black pepper.

2. Marinate the shrimp in the mixture of the garlic powder, salt and pepper for a few minutes.

3. Heat up wok on medium high heat and add oil in.

4. Stir in shrimp over medium high heat and let the shrimp cook for about 2-3 minutes.

5. Flip all the shrimp over and cook for about another 2-3 minutes.

6. Squeeze in lime juice and Sriracha sauce (optional) into the shrimp and stir the shrimp a few more times.

7. Turn off stove and remove woke from heat.  Then add in the chopped cilantro to the shrimp and toss a few more times.

8. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
