Strawberry Salsa

Not too long ago, I made grilled skirt steak and served it along with a simple delicious strawberry salsa.  Ever since then, I’d been in love with putting this with chicken, pork chops and of course tortilla chips.  This strawberry salsa is quite versatile and easy to make. Once you prepared the salsa, just pop it in the fridge and it’ll be good to go for whatever your hearts content. I’ll be making this as much as possible until the fresh strawberries are out of season. This is good for 2-4 servings so feel free to double up or triple up on the ingredients to scale to bigger servings.

Ingredients:

1 cup strawberries, diced

1/4 cup red onions, diced

2 tbsp. cilantro, diced

2 tsp. jalapeno pepper, diced

1/2 tbsp lime juice

1/8 tsp Himalayan salt

1/8 tsp ground black pepper

Directions:

1. To make the salsa. Combine strawberries, red onions, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, sea salt, ground black pepper into a bowl.

2. Mix all the ingredients together until everything is thoroughly combined.

3. Refrigerate the salsa until ready to use and serve.
