Simple Pan Seared Salmon with Salad

This pan seared salmon is an excellent delicious savory melt in your mouth, full of omega 3 goodness treat and simply easy to make meal for lunch or dinner.  I love this salmon dish because it is fairly light and filling enough as a meal since there really isn’t a lot of preparation work to do.

Ingredients:

2 -4 Salmon fillets

Himalayan salt (as desired)

Fresh ground pepper (as desired)

Victorian Epicure Sea Food & Fish seasoning (as desired)

Directions:

1.  Lightly sprinkle some Himalayan salt, fresh ground pepper along with Sea Food seasoning as desired on to both sides of the salmon fillet and let it marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

2. Preheat your choice of pan or wok with some extra virgin olive oil.  Once the oil is heated you are ready to begin cooking the salmon.

3. Place the salmon fillets into the pan or wok and let it cook each side roughly 3-4 minutes each side on medium low heat.

4.  Serve with a side of salad or bed of rice and enjoy!

The Victorian Epicure Sea Food and Fish seasoning really is the All Star of this recipe besides the salmon itself.  I highly recommend everyone to give the seasoning a try on any of your favorite fishes and seafood.

Wild salmon is so wonderfully lush and rich tasting, you don’t need to do anything elaborate with it. A simple sear like this shows it off at its finest.

The salmon would have been great as a stand alone but is a more complete dish with the salad on the side :)
