I stopped by Sapporo for some ramen with a few guests and enjoyed a really nice hot scorching bowl of Shoyu ramen. This is one of my go to spots for the Time Square area specifically for ramen since the food here is average and portions are fairly generous. I have been to this place plenty of times and it is usually packed during lunch time so if you can come after the normal rush hour, I’d recommend that you do so. The service by the waiters here are alright but nothing to brag about here. Its one of those spots where you can come sit down to get a bowl of ramen and enjoy.
After sitting down, it appeared as if we had the ramen place all to ourselves…or so we thought.
After a few minutes of giving our orders, the place was beginning to start getting packed in here after 2pm.
We ordered some gyoza dumplings and overall these were just average at best but at least they didn’t all stick together.
About to enjoy my freshly served hot bowl of Shoyu Ramen after devouring some gyoza dumplings.
– Average tasting ramen but better then some other spots out there
– Generous size portions of ramen
– Prices are inexpensive
– There is a fair amount of selection to choose from for ramen to other entrees.
– Seating can be packed and tight during rush hour
Overall, I recommend this place to eat if you want an decent bowl of ramen at an affordable price during any time of the day in Time Square for lunch or dinner. Please share your thoughts if you already eaten here down below.
