Silk Pure All Natural Original Almond Milk

You probably are familiar or seen the Silk brand offering its soy milk products in various flavors of original, chocolate, vanilla and so on.  Now they just recently added another new almond milk to their ever growing lineup of milk products if you can even call it that.  A few weeks ago I posted almond milk from blue diamond which I thought was great and delicious.  So how does the Silk pure almond milk stand up against Blue Diamond’s almond breeze milk? Personally I think taste wise, it holds its own and the consistency of the milk is a bit on the thicker, creamier side. Other then that, this is another decent alternative if you are looking for something low in fat, low calories and contains no processed unnatural ingredients.

Scope out the nutrition facts:

I think it may be a love it or hate it for some folks but I liked it and you might too.  I been seeing this product popping up in pretty much everywhere.  So you should be able to find it in your local super market at  average prices for half gallon container, will cost about $2.50 to $3.99.

I wonder if this is a good alternative to lactose-free milk. My daughter is lactose-intolerant.

@DiG8, Hello, this is another alternative to milk but it is on the thick creamy side so if she isn’t keen on drinking something thick but not as think as milkshake, I recommend trying Blue Diamond’s Almond Breeze milk. I have it all the time with my cereal, cooking and baking use. Let me know how you make it.
