Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant offering great traditional and contemporary meals

Kotobuki’s Japanese restaurant offers great traditional and contemporary cuisines ranging from beautifully crafted sushi and various cooked dishes.  This place is a little hidden gem on Long Island.  It is also a great spot to have a beer and hang out as well. I love everything that I’ve tried here but there is simply too many things for me to recommend from here, as I said everything is great! But here goes a few things.  For the appetizers, I like the fried oysters and Gyoza dumplings. For sushi, I love the sashimi platter, dragon roll and their new special mardi gras gone wild rolls!

All entrees come with salad and miso soup.

This sauteed scallops with garlic butter sauce was simply amazing!

Mardi Gras Gone Wild rolls are fantastic!

And of course it would be hard not to have a nice sashimi platter.

Pros:

- Delicious sushi rolls which are not only beautifully crafted but also very fresh.

- Menu also caters to people who may not like to eat raw foods.

- Great attentive customer service from the servers.

Cons:

- Closed on Mondays

In conclusion, I highly recommend this place to eat if you want great Japanese food for lunch or dinner.  Share your thoughts.
