I believe everything in moderation is the way to go when eating, especially when it comes to sweets in general.  So I was at work and a friend/co-worker brought in a homemade banana bread.  I tried it out and enjoyed it quite a bit. This recipe is made available, courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. Hajee.  Thank you guys so much for sharing this recipe out.  I think that you will find this recipe easy and delicious to enjoy.

BANANA BREAD:

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

2 eggs, beaten

1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (= 2 approx.)

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup oil or butter

Chopped nuts or chocolate chips optional

Directions:

1. Preheat oven 350 degrees and grease loaf pan.

2. In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.

3. In medium bowl, combine eggs, bananas, sugar and oil.

4. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture then stir to moisten.

5. Pour in greased pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
