Wholesome Savory Ground Turkey and Tomato over rice

Growing up as a kid, I often was served beef and tomato over rice but now I been cutting back my intake of beef so I have find a great alternative.  Ground turkey is the next of kin choice.  Not only is it great tasting, its leaner too.  This is another easy to make dish that is simply good.  Sometimes the best things in life are the simplest things and believe me this is better then the picture can justify it for.  This ground turkey over rice is recommended to be served over rice of your choice.

Ingredients:

1lb Ground turkey

3-4 Tomatoes

1 tbsp Sea Salt

2 tbsp Organic Cane Juice (Sugar)

2 gloves fresh chopped garlic

1/4 cup water

Directions:

1. Chop tomatoes into cubes and set aside.

2. Prepare to have ground turkey on hand.

3. In a heated pan (medium high heat), add extra virgin olive oil and let simmer for a little bit.

4. Add in the fresh garlic to the heated oil.

5. Add in the ground turkey to the pan. Brown ground turkey or until cooked.

6. Once ground turkey is cooked or brown, add in the chop tomato to the pan. Add in some organic cane juice (sugar), sea salt and water. Proceed to cook until tomato is soft (3-4 minutes on med-high heat).

Finally meal is ready to be served over some rice. I hope you enjoy it.
