Almond Jello Dessert perfect for Memorial Day weekend!

As the summer is about to kick off, people are getting ready to BBQ, eat and drink.  But there is always room for dessert isn’t there?  Of course there is ALWAYS room for Jello!  So in honor of this Memorial Day, I decided to make almond Jello.  The great thing about this Jello is it has all natural ingredients and doesn’t contain any food coloring like the ones you may be used to seeing.  I think this particular Jello will cater very well to kids and adults so I recommend making this for dessert or snack.

Ingredients:

2 cups Almond Breeze almond milk

2 cups Filtered Water

3/4 cup Organic Cane Juice (sugar)

4 envelopes of Knox unflavored gelatin

4 tsp Organic Almond Extract

Directions:

1. Get a pot and pour in 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

2. Add in Organic Cane Juice (sugar) and stir with whisk until sugar is melted.

3. Add in the 4 envelopes of Knox unflavored gelatin into the pot and continue to whisk.

4. Add in the 2  cups of almond milk and whisk thoroughly for another minute or so.

5. Add in 4 teaspoon of almond extract to the pot and stir with whisk for about another minute and thats it.

6. Pour hot gelatin mix into Jello mold or steep dish.

7.  Chill in refrigerator for at least half a day and serve chilling with strawberries and blackberries or blueberries. Enjoy

I’ll try the almond jello recipe; maybe throw in a few threads of saffron add the end of step #5. I think the almond and saffron would compliment each other very well.

I agree. Thank you for pointing that out to me. It has now been revised and you should be able to proceed quite nicely. Let me know how you make out with the Jello.
