Easy Turkey alla Vodka over penne pasta
For those pasta lovers out there, this is a great simple meal perfect for lunch or dinner for 2! Especially after a long day from work and you really don’t feel like spending too much time to prepare and cook.
Ingredients:
Whole wheat Penne pasta (about a half a box)
12 oz. Ground turkey
1 package of mushrooms
Spinach (3-4 handful)
Herb de Provence seasoning
Penne alla Vodka sauce
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Olive oil
Directions:
1. Boil penne pasta until al dente usually within 10 minutes.
2. Drain pasta and you could wash with cold water if desired.
3. Next brown ground turkey in pan with some olive oil and add sea salt, black pepper, and herb de provence seasoning.
4. Cook turkey until it is cooked thoroughly and set meat aside on plate.
5. Then you want to take the penne pasta drained earlier and throw it back in the pan and add turkey, 8 tablespoon of penne alla vodka sauce followed by throwing in the spinach and mushrooms. Once the mushrooms and spinach is cooked the meal is done and ready to be served. Enjoy!
